For spring break we went down to southern Oregon
to visit with some friends from BYU and we also went
to the Wildlife Safari Park in Roseburg, OR! We had such a
great time, eventhough Mason got a fever. The best part of the
animal park were the grizzley bears. They were so playful and
cute. The scariest animal was the emus that would come right
up to your car and make this horrible sound, which I believe came
from the velociraptors in Jurassic Park, Scott even decided to roll his
window up when it got just a little too close.
The friends we went to visit, have the same amount of kids we do, just
in the exact opposite order. The kids had the best time playing together,
it was as if they had known each other forever! While in Roseburg, we went
hiking to a beautiful waterfall and went canooing in a river right by their house.
Overall, it was a great vacation and we making plans to travel down there again
this summer!

Awesome! We totally went to that animal safari thing one time when we visited Ryan and Heidi in Medford. It is awesome, huh? The bears were totally the best part when we were there too.
That looks like so much fun. That water looks so nice, especially when I am in the Texas heat:)
As I was scrolling down the page, I thought, "Hey that's a Vance!" That's great that you guys have stayed in touch. The animal park looks fun. We visit my grandparents in Medford occasionally, but I hadn't known about that place. We'll have to go there next time we're out that way. Great pictures. I love the close-up of the bear.
Sounds like a fun spring break. I love to see all your great pictures. Everything is always so green...it makes me jealous.
